Microsoft Debuts Office Delve Preview App for Windows 10

Office Delve is now available in app form across Windows 10 devices, allowing users to share content amongst contacts. It is now available from the Windows Store

-

has officially announced Office Delve as a Preview app for , making it available across Windows 10 devices. The app lands with a number of key features and more or less the same Delve experience we have seen within Office for some time.

Office Delve lets users manage shared documents and work across a network of people. To sign in, you will need an work or school subscription before you can discover content from your contacts or organization.

Office Delve is a new way to discover relevant information and connections from across your work life. Delve displays information that is most relevant for each person based on the work they are doing and the people with whom they are engaging.  With Delve, information finds you versus you having to find information.

In its announcement for the preview, Microsoft says the app will let users see notifications about recent document updates, and see suggestions relevant to your work. Some of the key features included in the app are the ability to:

  • Get updates about what your colleagues are working on
  • Find relevant documents and attachments based on people you know
  • Get back to important documents you're actively working on

Last year Microsoft updated Delve in Office 365 with Praise (a comment and recommendation feature), favorites and a new authoring canvas to edit and view pages make the tool more useful.

You can check out the new Windows 10 Office Delve app at the Windows Store now.
